In response to increasing client demand, ThinkMarkets has brought in two new executives, David Hodge and Drosoula Hadjisavva, to oversee its marketing department.
David Hodge has joined ThinkMarkets as the new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) based in London. David brings with him more than four years of experience, starting as the Chief Commercial Officer at CMC Markets in 2017.
He was later promoted to CEO for the UK/Europe and EMEA regions and held the position of Chief Revenue Officer at OANDA Global.
Before taking on the role of ThinkMarkets CMO, David served as the Chief Marketing & Growth Officer at Skilling, a CySEC licensed retail broker, for nearly two years until the end of 2022.
In addition, the FCA licensed broker has enlisted Drosoula Hadjisavva, an industry expert in Forex and CFD, as the ThinkMarkets Group Marketing Director for regions beyond Cyprus.
Drosoula brings eight years of professional experience, having previously served as the Marketing Director at IronFX and FXCC. She also held the position of CMO at BDSwiss for four years before joining ThinkMarkets.
Furthermore, ThinkMarkets has strengthened its business strategy by pursuing an IPO through a SPAC merger in Canada, despite facing losses of over $20 million in the past two years.
The SPAC merger partner, FG Acquisition Corp, listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, will hold a shareholder vote on the deal in late June.
