RoboForex Revises Oil, Indices and Crypto Trading Rules

December 19, 2017
The new trading rules from RoboForex define longer trading sessions and remove some of the old restrictions that no longer apply.

Early this December, the RoboForex broker changed the rules for trading CFDs on oil assets, indices, and cryptocurrency pairs. The new trading rules from RoboForex outline longer trading sessions and remove some of the old restrictions that no longer apply. The following is a brief overview that RoboForex traders and those interested in trading Oil, Indices, and Cryptocurrencies need to know.

CFD Trading RoboForex

1. Index and Oil CFDs Can Be Traded In Any Base Currency.

In the past, Index and Oil CFDs at RoboForex could only be traded on accounts with USD or EUR base currencies. However, now these restrictions have been removed. Holders of accounts with Gold base currency can also trade directly on Index and Oil CFDs. In addition, Oil and Index CFDs can now also be traded on the Metatrader5 (MT5) platform, not just the MT4 platform.

2. Extended Index CFD Trading Session.

This extended Index CFD trading session is exclusive to assets marked DE30 (from the German Stock Index DAX30) and US30 (from the US Dow Jones Stock Index), respectively:

  • DE30Cash: 9:05 AM - 10:55 PM (RoboForex server time).
  • US30Cash; US500Cash; USTECHCash: 3:00 AM - 11:55 PM (RoboForex server time).

3. Crypto Trading Session Becomes 24 Hours.

Starting December 23, 2017, trading CFDs on cryptocurrencies available at RoboForex, namely BTC/USD and ETH/USD, will be possible anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. That is, we buy and sell on weekdays and weekends. Traders no longer need to miss opportunities from the cryptocurrency market movement, which is usually quite busy on Saturdays and Sundays.

In addition, the BTC/USD and ETH/USD instruments experienced a minimum lot reduction of up to 0.01. We can trade it on the MT4, MT5, and R Trader platforms owned by RoboForex, equipped with leverage of up to 1:10.

4. CFDs on Indices, Crypto, and Oil Available at CopyFX.

CopyFX, RoboForex's signature copy-trading platform that allows traders to copy each other's trading positions, now also provides CFDs for Index, Crypto, and Oil types of assets. So, we can start trading, sending trading signals, or copying transactions of other CopyFX traders in these three types of assets, not only in currency pairs within the scope of Forex and Gold.
