Lawrence Jones, a marketing executive with extensive experience in the financial services industry spanning over a decade, has rejoined Pepperstone as the Head of Digital Acquisition. Additionally, he will be serving as temporary coverage for Anna Simmonds, who holds the position of Head of Marketing EMEA & LATAM at Pepperstone and is currently on maternity leave.
Based in London, Lawrence Jones brings a wealth of experience to his new role. His prior experience includes holding senior marketing positions at IG Group for six years. He initially joined Pepperstone on a contract basis in 2021 to evaluate their digital marketing setup. He later took on the Head of Digital Acquisition role at OvalX in the previous year.
Jones expressed his excitement about returning to Pepperstone, saying, "I'm delighted to be back at Pepperstone after doing some contract work here 2 years ago now. There's been some heavy investment in the brand and product with the ATP sponsorship and partnership with TradingView, with much more to come this year. The company is already starting to see those impacts on client acquisition, which I'm excited to keep scaling further."
In his new capacity, Jones will be at the helm of Pepperstone's digital marketing endeavors, encompassing areas such as search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and social media marketing. His role will also involve crafting and implementing digital marketing strategies to assist Pepperstone in expanding its client base and exploring new markets.
