After launching the fixed rate feature for EUR/USD, FXOptimax is again opening the same promo for USD/IDR. This service, which is aimed at facilitating deposits and withdrawals for Indonesian traders, can be enjoyed on two types of FXOptimax accounts and is set at a rate of Rp10,000 per $1.
The fixed rate feature for Rupiah from FXOptimax is only available for transactions processed via FasaPay or Indonesian exchangers.
Available in Two Types of Accounts
Unlike the fixed rate promo for EUR/USD, which can only be activated on a particular Euro fix rate account, this time, the fix rate service for Rupiah can be utilized by FXOptimax clients from Indonesia who have previously traded with certain types of accounts. The fixed-rate promo applies to Precision and 4-Digits account holders.
With this policy, traders can have more flexible choices in terms of pricing (4-digit or 5-digit) as well as the type of spread (fixed or floating). Please note that the FXOptimax 4-Digits account has a 4-digit pricing system and supports fixed spread services starting from 2 pips.
Meanwhile, even though the Precision account has a floating spread type, clients don't need to worry about the spread level being too high because the floating spread on this account starts from 1.8 pips and averages only 2 pips.
No Change in Transfer Fees
As previously mentioned, only FasaPay and some local exchangers support the USD/IDR fixed rate promo from FXOptimax. Transactions through other exchanges must be confirmed with the approval of FXOptimax. In addition, fees for withdrawals will also be charged at the standard rate.
For example, if a client withdraws via FasaPay, a transfer fee of 0.5% of the total withdrawal will be charged. If a client withdraws $1000, with a fixed rate calculation (1,000 x 10,000), the total money to be withdrawn in Rupiah is Rp10,000,000.
However, the transfer fee of as much as $5 cannot be calculated with a fixed rate. The conversion from USD to IDR for the fee from FasaPay is still calculated based on the standard rate. The same conditions apply to transactions made with other exchangers.
