FBS has stepped up to provide support to the people affected by the earthquake in Turkey on February 18, 2023. Collaborating with Lutov Daroglu and Cihan Kasal, FBS has taken the initiative to offer emergency assistance in the form of essential food items to the earthquake victims.

Turkey, being situated on major fault lines, is prone to earthquakes, and this year witnessed one of the deadliest earthquakes in the country's history.

Striking southern Turkey near the northern border with Syria, this powerful earthquake had a magnitude of 7.8 on February 6, 2023, followed by a magnitude 7.5 aftershock about nine hours later, approximately 59 miles (95 kilometers) to the southwest.

The devastating tremors claimed the lives of over 2,300 people in a mere 40 seconds, with its impact felt as far away as Lebanon and Cyprus.

FBS's response to this disaster reflects its commitment to allocate resources effectively and extend support to the earthquake victims in Turkey. The forex broker contributed by donating 799 boxes of groceries, containing essential items such as rice, wheat, salt, sugar, oil, and other necessities, in Hatay, Turkey.

Furthermore, the company went a step further by sponsoring informative videos related to the Turkey earthquake, demonstrating its empathy for the suffering of the victims. FBS has made these videos available on its official YouTube channel, spreading awareness and concern for those affected by the catastrophe.
