In addition to providing great support for its traders, FBS broker is also known for its charity work. As part of its social responsibility efforts, the brokerage has recently dedicated over $62,000 to seven charitable organizations in developing countries.
This multi-asset brokerage collects the funds during Ramadhan 2023. FBS plans to use these funds to help 5,000 underprivileged people in Malaysia, Indonesia, Nigeria, Egypt, Turkey, Pakistan, and Yemen.
"In line with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), FBS aims to contribute to building a more prosperous and just society," commented the Director of Strategic Marketing at FBS, Ksenia Molodkina.
"Since 2014, FBS has actively participated in charity work during Ramadan, raising around $1.3 million to be donated to more than 30 organizations in Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, making a positive impact in the lives of thousands of people."
This program empowers traders to make charitable contributions and offer support to those in need during the holy month of Ramadan. In 2023, over 29,000 traders from 17 different countries took part in the FBS Trade and Aid charity initiative.
As part of this charitable endeavor, FBS broker distributed funds equally among seven charitable organizations. For instance, the Malaysian division of the MyCare Foundation utilized FBS donations to establish freshwater fish farms, which have enabled local communities in the Bandar Tasik Selatan district of Kuala Lumpur to create a sustainable source of income. This initiative has significantly enhanced the living standards of low-income individuals in the area.
