Exness, the global retail forex and CFD broker headquartered in Cyprus, had an exceptional year in 2022. They wrapped up the year with a bang, reporting a trading volume of $2.5 trillion in December.
That's a whopping 103.1% increase compared to the same period in 2021. And it seems like the momentum carried into 2023, with Exness hitting monthly trading volumes over $2.8 trillion, even peaking at a staggering $3.8 trillion in March 2023.
The versatile broker also noted a remarkable 58% surge in active clients, boasting nearly 375,000 of them, according to Exness' financial data for 2022. In an exciting turn of events, Exness kicked off 2023 by crossing the 450,000 active customers mark for the first time.
During the last quarter of 2022, Exness witnessed a whopping $1.1 billion in client withdrawals, more than double the figure from the same period in 2021. Notably, they also dished out $99.1 million in affiliate commissions during that timeframe, marking a substantial 90.6% increase since 2021. What's interesting is that Q3 of 2022 saw the highest affiliate commissions, surpassing the $100 million mark.
When we look at the bigger picture, Exness' total trading volume for the entire year of 2022 was an impressive $27.2 trillion. They also saw customer withdrawals of $4.1 billion and paid out $377.5 million to partners. It's a clear testament to Exness' strong presence in the trading industry.
To sum it up, Exness' trading revenue surged by a remarkable 67% in 2022 compared to 2021, and their operating profit increased by a solid 40%.
