Israel-based global FX and CFD broker eToro has extended its partnership with Czech football champions SK Slavia Prague for another season, aligning with its community-oriented ethos. This marks the second renewal of the partnership, which was first established in 2021 on a multi-year contract.
SK Slavia Prague, founded in 1892, is the oldest Czech football club and has dominated the Czech First League in recent years with three successive titles. The extension comes on the heels of the club's successful year, winning the Czech Cup in the previous season.
eToro's Middle East & Nordic Regional Manager, Shani Haan Shalom, expressed delight in partnering with a team that consistently demonstrates excellence on and off the pitch.
The partnership will prominently feature eToro branding on player jerseys, LED boards, and pitchside banners. The multi-asset broker will also leverage its presence on social media and fan club forums. Collaborations with sports clubs like SK Slavia Prague enable eToro to expand its reach among football fans, access new audiences, and strengthen its global brand.
This isn't eToro's first foray into sports partnerships. The brokerage firm recently signed contracts with four English football clubs – Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Everton, and West Ham – in preparation for the FIFA Women's World Cup, set to kick off on July 20, 2023.
