BDSwiss has been expanding its footprint across various global markets, including Africa, seizing promising market opportunities to introduce its products and services.
To further solidify its presence in the African market, the multi-asset company recently appointed Christos Fylaktou as the regional head of business development for Africa.
Christos Fylaktou embarked on his career in the FX and CFD markets eight years ago, starting as an account manager at IronFX. Before his recent appointment, he was a marketing executive at BDSwiss in Madrid, Spain.
Fylaktou joined the company in late 2021 to continue capitalizing on BDSwiss' distinctive attributes and its ever-evolving technological offerings.
Before joining BDSwiss, he accumulated four years of professional experience at HFM (formerly HotForex) as a Senior Business Development Executive in Africa. His extensive career includes executive roles at Salex Spa and FXCM, as well as serving as the Chief Analyst at DailyFX.
Much of his professional journey has revolved around honing his analytical skills and gaining operational expertise in the forex market. Furthermore, he has ventured into marketing and public relations consultancy with KC Firiakis Services in Cyprus.
Over the past decade, this multi-asset broker has evolved as a global provider of online FX and CFD trading, offering a diverse range of over 1000 trading instruments to clients across 180 countries.
Fylaktou will spearhead business development initiatives beyond the company's Cypriot office in his new role. He will also drive profitability, foster relationships with African clientele and partners, and execute strategic plans to expand the company's presence further.
