Anthony Darvall, who held the position of Head FX Dealer for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region at easyMarkets, bid farewell to the company after an impressive 15-year tenure. He's set to embark on a new journey as the Founder of Traderflow, a web 3.0 fintech startup.
Darvall revealed his new role as the founder of Traderflow through a LinkedIn announcement. His departure follows the recent resignation of Ohad Golan, who served as the Chief Marketing Officer of easyMarkets.
Darvall initially joined easyMarkets in May 2008 as the Chief Market Analyst of APAC and FX Dealer for High Net Worth Individuals. Later, in May 2016, he assumed the position of Head FX Dealer for APAC. During his tenure, Darvall provided comprehensive market updates and tailored trading plans for traders and hedgers.
Traderflow is set to make its official debut in February, with the collaboration of other experienced FX professionals. The startup will launch a dynamic Metaverse and NFT trading floor, featuring real-time updates, as well as a repository of trading history and on-chain statistics.
Darvall's move is part of a growing trend in the forex and CFD trading industry, where executives are leaving their positions to pursue new entrepreneurial ventures. Notable departures include Ryan Leonard, who stepped down as Chief Information Officer at FXCM, Alan F. Schwarz, Co-Founder and CEO of FXSpotStream, Harshad Kale, former Chief Financial Officer of ThinkMarkets, and Bank of England (BoE) FX Dealer Chris Mills, who left his role a month earlier.
