Looking for the best leverage CFD broker out there. Most people have been directing me to IC Markets, saying 'oh it has wonderful leverage blablabla'. So I guess this is me trying to find out whether it's true or not. I'm trading WTI and sometimes Brent (CFDs), if anyone can share their experience that would be great. Can't trust people in my old forums these days.

Help a girl here. Is it possible to trade commodities in IC Market's cTrader account? I know for sure that this broker offers commodity trading in their MetaTrader (both MT4 and Mt5). But I am much more interested in cTrader.

1. How much is the leverage for commodity trading in IC Market's cTrader?

2. Would it be the same as the MetaTrader account or different?

any insight would be much apreciated.

A long time ago I open an account in MT5 raw spread, however, due to a huge loss I decided to stop trading. But, now I have learned a lot of lessons and I think I'm ready to start trading again. I am not sure if my account has been deactivated or not. But, if it does, can IC Markets reactivate my account again? Making a new account can be a hassle.

The specs on IC Markets are awesome, don't think it gets can any better than this so I feel pretty lucky. Some of the things I like about trading in IC Markets are the spreads (super low), latency, and support agents. I did have some problems with server connections in the past but apparently, it's because of my connections. I was staying in a cabin for vacation and the WiFi was pretty bad. So, there is that, check your connections when you trade anything, mate. Learn it the hard way.

It is quite rare to find a trusted CFD broker that also offers crypto CFD. Even when I found one, they always seem to be dubious and sketchy. So, I was pretty happy when I found out that IC Markets offer crypto CFD as well. I was hoping that IC Markets have plenty of cryptocurrency options to choose from. Aside from mainstream coins like BTC and ETH, what else do they offer?

Top-tier service for sure, no doubt about it. The story is I needed help to transfer some funds from my internal account to my live account. Customer service took this matter almost immediately after I ask for their help. What's even better is that this was done by IC Markets in a proficient and professional manner. This is honestly one of the best experiences I have ever felt during my time trading. This should be the standard of a broker's customer service.

Why do IC Markets keep executing my order above my intended level? For example, I placed a buy-stop order of 13.61 USD several days ago. But the order was completed at around 18.61 USD. That is way off from my intended level. This is not the only time similar things happened. I place a stop loss order at 1561.08 but, my stop loss order was filled at 1585.61. 

Since I can't get an answer from customer service, I went to a trading forum and ask around. This isn't uncommon at all. I don't know why they claimed to have low latency when there are so many problems with the order.

If I hate to rate this broker it would be A++++ because it's just that good.

Some things that I am very satisfied with are: spreads, quick order executions, generally affordable, and plenty of instruments to trade with.

However, there are things I feels like it can get better is the customer service reply. I think they should be able to reply faster since most of the trader's problems are quite urgent. Please consider fixing this, IC Markets. I'm rooting for you.

A little advice for any trader out there who is just barely starting out like me. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT apply to a broker that has fishy insurance for traders. Now, if anyone can tell me what type of insurance IC Markets offer, that would be great.

Kinda just got scammed here. My old broker apparently has unethical insurance and I should know that they're a fraud. Many people recommend IC market, so I figure I'll just ask around and find out more about them.

Honestly, I am still very 50:50 when it comes to rating IC Markets. I'm here just to share my experience, I should warn you that other traders' experiences might differ.

I think their spread is excellent and I like that they have abundant instruments to trade with. I am also very happy with how they handle customer service. They always fixed the problem really quickly.

Now about the things that I don't like. I think their slippage is pretty bad, this is actually one of the worse slippages I have ever experienced. Also, it's true that customer service fixes my problem quickly. But they also take a very long time to answer my chat. So there is that.

Overall I think that this is actually an excellent broker, but I think they could be better.
