how to customize the Fibonacci number

1. On the Metatrader platform, go to Insert - Fibonacci, there you will find options for Fibo Retracement, Fibo Fan or Fibo Expansion. These three types of Fibo analysis are the most commonly used. You can also select options directly from the tab at the top.



2. Select the price range you want to measure the retracement, expansion, or fan display for.
For example, for Fibo retracement you have determined the swing high and swing low levels. Then right-click on the line connecting the swing high and swing low levels, select Fibo properties, and a box like the following will appear (for Fibo Expansion and Fibo Fan the box displayed is the same):



3. You can customize the percentage size of the retracement, expansion or fan levels from the column below the Level column by double-clicking to change existing levels, or clicking the Add tab once to add a new level.

To customize the text to be displayed, you can click the column below the Description column according to which level you want to customize. In the example above, the text displayed is FR-76.4 for retracement 0.764, FR-61.8 for retracement 0.618, FR-50.0 for retracement 0.5, etc.
