Instead, you should first determine where you want to open a position, sir. That’s what I’ve circled that needs to be determined first. In MT4 there is also an automatic one, then click sell/buy below it.

To Ari,

If observed from the Market Watch column, it is likely that you do not have trading access on that account. It appears that all currency symbols in your Market Watch window are inactive. Here is an example of active symbols in Market Watch.

Why can't I open a position when getting credit from XM?

It can be seen that active currency symbols will be black and embossed (not gray) in the Market Watch window. If the cursor is directed to one of the symbols, there will be a description of "Trade : Full" which means you have full trading access to that pair symbol.

If you are using a bonus account or a deposit bonus account (or another account that includes a promotional account from the broker), it is likely that there are several trading requirements for your trading account. For example, you must trade on certain days or hours, or you must trade on major pairs only, or other requirements.

Therefore, we suggest that you review the terms and conditions of trading on the promotional program you are participating in, or you can also contact customer service from broker XM to get the right explanation and solution.

Hopefully it can help

I experienced this with my broker, unable to trade because I hadn't completed the ID card and bank statement registration requirements. The writing was grayed out. Try asking their CS, it means the client is not yet allowed to trade. There are requirements that must be met.
