I have tried both MT4 and MT5 accounts in IC...

I have tried both MT4 and MT5 accounts in IC Markets, and so far both of them have similar qualities.

One: They have the same average spreads.

Two: Both have a similar speed for order executions, although I feel like MT4 is a few milliseconds faster than MT5.

Three: Have pretty much the same instruments to trade with. Although I don't know whether it's 100% correct or not considering I only try it for a few months.

My problem: I need to choose one trading platform, I can trade both since it makes it hard to focus. Perhaps there is anyone out there that can give me pointers on which one is better for this broker?

Anna Fitzgerald: I would suggest MT4, but I am biased because I am more used to MT4 than any other trading platform. Have you tried their cTrader tho? My friends told me that cTrader has lower commission fees (for the raw spread account). So that might be a new option for you if this is what you are looking for. In terms of quality and reliability, I still stand by MT4.
