The Middle Eastern market landscape is experiencing a massive increase. Pepperstone forex broker is strengthening its commitment to the region by obtaining the prestigious Category 5 license from the Securities and Commodities Authority of the United Arab Emirates (SCA) and opening a new office in the heart of Dubai, specifically at Emaar Square.

This office is positioned as the official regional hub for Pepperstone forex broker for the entire MENA region. Located in Emaar Square 3, this space will serve as the headquarters for relationship management, commercial operations, and trader education.

According to Gescard Hessen, Head of MENA at Pepperstone, the Category 5 approval specifically allows the multi-asset broker to conduct "Regulatory and Advisory" activities, meaning they can now:

  • Launch regulated marketing and promotions in the UAE.
  • Provide limited consulting services.
  • Facilitate introductions for professional clients and partners.

This local oversight adds to the regulatory portfolio of Pepperstone which includes top-tier licenses such as ASIC, FCA, and CySEC. For professional traders, this means greater transparency, quicker responses to market changes, and peace of mind from local accountability.

With this license from the Dubai government, Pepperstone joins an elite group of brokers—including big names like XM—that have recently transitioned to the domestic market, as previously reported in our forex broker news

Additionally, Dubai has also streamlined the licensing process with the launch of DFSA Connect, a digital platform that reportedly cuts the broker registration approval time by about a third.
