How to make an initial deposit on eToro?
Can it be done through a local bank??
The way to deposit to the eToro broker is quite easy. You simply need to log in to your eToro trading account, then click Deposit Funds. Next, enter your deposit amount along with the intended currency. Once all the data is filled in, you just select the desired deposit method.
As for the deposit methods offered by eToro, they include debit and credit cards, PayPal, Neteller, Skrill, WebMoney, Wire Transfer, and Online Banking. Thank you
What bank options are available on Etoro? I use Maybank...
@Tjandra: The available bank options for interbank transfers (wire transfer) are BCA, Mandiri, BNI and other banks. Maybank can also be used for deposits into your eToro account as deposits via wire transfer will be directed to the eToro account at Barclays Bank which is based in the UK.
Thank you
@Hariyanto: Of course, sir, please register an account in your wife's name and then deposit using an account in her name as well. All forms of fund flow (both deposits and withdrawals) must use an account whose name or owner matches the identity used during account registration.
In addition, strict rules regarding deposits and withdrawals require that the deposit account be the same as the withdrawal account. This is done to prevent money laundering attempts (money laundering).
So, if you register an account for deposits and withdrawals in your wife's name, you must not register an account using your name, and vice versa. Furthermore, if you use your wife's account for deposits, withdrawals cannot be made through your account, and vice versa. The system will read this as a violation and your account may be suspended.
Thank you
@P. Budi Andre: First of all, you need to notify your eToro broker that you will be making a deposit into your eToro account. The steps are as follows:
1. Login to your eToro account
2. Click Deposit Funds
3. Choose wire transfer
4. Enter the amount you want to deposit (deposits using bank transfer are a minimum of $250)
5. Next, select Barclays bank as shown in the image below.
6. Click continue, then an image like the example below will appear.
Take a photo or screenshot of the image that appears as shown above. Once the photo or screenshot has been taken, you are now ready to go to the bank to make a wire transfer.
Please go to the nearest BRI Bank and tell the teller that you want to make a wire transfer while showing the photo or screenshot you took earlier. Also tell the teller to fill in the reference number/transaction ID and your eToro account username in the beneficiary details/message column.
If the bank teller asks pay in full amount, say no (this rarely happens, but if asked just say no). Once finished, do not throw away the transfer receipt given to you, you will confirm the deposit using a scan of the transfer receipt.
After the transfer receipt is scanned, please send an email to eToro support at eToroSupport@etoro.com. Attach the scanned transfer receipt.

If your eToro account has not been verified, please complete it first, so that eToro can match the transfer data with your eToro biodata. Then you just have to wait for the deposit to be credited to your account.
Hopefully this clarifies things, thank you.
@rustam: does the etoro withdrawal requirement have to verify the sms to the old number?
No, you can replace the old number with a new one. It's easy, just log in to your e-Toro account, then look for settings that contain the phone number. On that page, replace the old number with your new number, the system will send a verification sms that is still sent to the old number. After this verification, the old number in the system will be replaced by the new number, so all verifications including withdrawal verification will be sent to the new number.
@Adi Wira Kusuma: If you join copytrade, how much minimum deposit is required? $200 right?

3. Enter the Withdrawal Amount (Minimum $50)
4. Select the Payment Method "LOCAL ONLINE BANKING"
5. Then fill in Your Data and Account Number Completely >> Then CLICK "SUBMIT"

@verdy: I deposited to etoro yesterday using jenius then transferred to a BNI bank.. This means you deposited using BNI bank. The bank recorded when depositing into the etoro account is considered the deposit bank. Therefore, your withdrawal must also use BNI bank.
All forms of fund flow (both deposit or withdrawal) must use an account whose name or owner matches the identity used when registering the trading account. Strict rules regarding deposits and withdrawals require the deposit account to be the same as the withdrawal account. This is done to prevent money laundering (money laundering).
Furthermore, you can visit more complete information regarding eToro withdrawal.
Hopefully it can help, thank you.
