Shalom Berkovitz has stepped down from his role as director of eToro UK after seven years. Alongside these changes, eToro made significant new leadership appointments in Italy and France, marking a period of strategic reorganization for the company.

Shalom Berkovitz, director of forex broker eToro UK, has officially announced his retirement after seven years of contributing to the company's success. Although he stepped down at the end of February 2023, Berkovitz remained a non-executive director for eToro UK and eToro USA LLC for the past year.

eToro forex broker, known as copy trading platform- nya, has an impressive 30 million users worldwide and offers more than 5,000 instruments on its trading platform. Despite the departure of senior executives, the multi-asset broker remains committed to expanding its global operations.

Berkovitz leaves behind an impressive 37-year career as a leader. Prior to his tenure at eToro, he served as CEO of DSNR Television Group for five years and CEO of d-Group for three years. His extensive experience also includes key management roles at major Israeli companies: Chief Financial Officer at Golden Pages Israel for 15 years and Vice President of Economics and Business Development at Eurocom Communications for nine years.

In other forex broker news, eToro has made a key appointment to strengthen its leadership team. Inès de Dinechin has been appointed Special Advisor for business in France, and Massimo Citoni has been promoted to Regional Manager for the Italy region.
