There's latest news from the forex broker that's rocked the forex trading world. Forex broker Exness suddenly halted new client registrations from India, catching many by surprise. This move, which quietly took effect on July 11, 2025, was made without any official announcement or explanation from the company, triggering widespread speculation among traders and partners.

Clients attempting to register from an Indian IP address found that the registration page had vanished, with only the login button visible. Existing users, however, are still able to access their accounts and continue trading as normal, with no service disruptions so far. Initially, deposit and withdrawal options were also disabled for Indian clients, but these services have been restored.

Of course, many introducing brokers (IBs) and affiliate partners who manage active client networks are concerned. India has long been one of the largest markets for forex broker Exness in terms of web traffic and client base. Given this, analysts believe that is unlikely to fully withdraw.

Some in the industry suggest that Exness may be planning a comeback through a new brand or a shift from its entity in Seychelles to an entity registered in Vanuatu.

One reason behind this sudden move may be related to India's increasingly strict regulations on CFDs and binary options. These financial instruments are still in a legal gray area in India, and the Reserve Bank of India recently added 88 foreign platforms, including Exness, to their warning list. Additionally, the new UPI payment verification rules now apply to licensed intermediaries—but not to foreign brokers like Exness.

All eyes are now fixed on the next step that Exness will take. Will they come back with a new name or structure? For now, Indian traders can only wait and see.
