eToro Launches Global Proxy Voting
eToro clients, including retail investors, can now vote at Annual General Meetings (AGMs) on shares worldwide thanks to a new partnership with Broadridge Financial Solutions Inc.

Globally renowned forex broker eToro continues to strengthen its position in the financial markets by expanding its proxy voting feature inpartnership with Broadridge Financial Solutions Inc . This strategic move, aimed at increasing user engagement, now covers all stocks listed on the eToro platform, following a period of strong investor engagement.
The initiative builds on the success witnessed with the proxy voting feature for US stocks which was introduced last year, which saw an impressive turnout of over 145,000 votes from users.
With this expansion, this copy trading broker wants to empower retail stock traders around the world to actively engage in the Annual General Meeting ( AGM), allowing them to not only receive dividends but also play a role in important decisions regarding mergers, executive compensation, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) targets.
eToro's Retail Investor Voting Survey, conducted among 10,000 retail investors in 13 countries, highlights growing interest in proxy voting, which has jumped to 29%, up from 26% in the previous survey. Among the key areas of primary concern to respondents were the election or re-election of directors, dividends, share buybacks and executive remuneration.
