Celebrating Eid al-Adha, Octa Sends Food Aid to Indonesia and Malaysia

From June 15 to 19, 2024, Muslims around the world celebrate Eid al-Adha, also known as the 'Feast of Sacrifice', by slaughtering animals and distributing the meat to those in need. This important tradition involves special prayers and the sacrifice of a goat, sheep, cow, or camel, with the meat distributed to the poor, friends, and relatives. In line with this spirit of charity, forex broker Octa launched a charity initiative in Indonesia and Malaysia.

In Indonesia, Octa partnered with the IDEP Foundation to provide assistance to more than 400 people in Banjar Pe Buah, Banyubiru Village, Jembrana, Bali. Three cows were slaughtered and the meat distributed to families affected by coastal erosion and high waves. One recipient expressed his gratitude, saying, “For us, getting a portion of meat means being able to prepare additional dishes and inviting relatives, especially children, to spend time together.”

Meanwhile, in Malaysia, this multi-asset broker collaborated with local partner Azeehan to distribute sacrificial meat from two cows in Kelantan, providing benefits to approximately 300 people. This is the second consecutive year of their partnership, which has had a significant impact in reducing hunger and poverty.

Beyond their charitable efforts during Eid al-Adha, >forex broker Octa also sponsored an emergency aid program in Bali last January following weather conditions bad. These initiatives highlight Octa's commitment to supporting communities and enhancing its reputation as a socially responsible company.
