How to Register for an Octa Demo Account

2. A registration pop-up will appear on the right side. Please enter your email address and password. Don't forget to check the confirmation column to verify you're not acitizen, resident, or affiliate of the US or a resident of the Philippines.Then, click Sign Up.
   
   
   
3. After filling in your personal details, you will be asked to confirm the email you used to register at Octa. Click on the Confirm button to receive a request for confirmation in your email inbox.
   
   
   
4. Next, you will be asked to complete your personal data, starting with your full name, country of origin, and date of birth. Click Continue after completing the form.
   
   
   
5. Next, you will be directed to the Octa client area. To create a demo account, please go to the right side of the page, look for the Trading Accounts menu, and select Open demo account.
   
   
   
6. In the Account Type section, please select the Demo tab, choose the account type you want to use, and set the leverage and virtual balance. Then, click Create Account.
   
   Octa offers 3 types of platform-based account types, namely:
   1. OctaTrader, a type of trading account with a WebTrader-based platform from Octa (no need to download any platform).
   2. MetaTrader 4, a type of trading account with an MT4-based platform (need to download the platform).
   3. MetaTrader 5, a type of trading account with an MT5-based platform (need to download the platform).
7. Your Octa demo account is ready. You will be directed to a page informing your demo account details. To start trading with an Octademo account, please click the Trade button.
   

Later, your Octa demo platform will look like this. OctaTrader platform is similar to other web platforms in general. You can start to execute orders by clicking the Buy or Sell button.
