For your information, because this forex trading is online, you can trade using any broker without being bound/limited by your place of residence. With the means of a PC/Laptop or android and an internet connection, you can trade anywhere and from anywhere. However, our advice is that you still need to be careful in choosing a broker.

Even if you live in North Sumatra, you can trade using a broker whose office is inside / outside the country.

Our advice is to use small capital first and practice a lot (in a demo account)

Thanks.

Which is safer, a broker regulated by the FCA or BAPPEBTI? It is said that the FCA is good, but why are some of its brokers blocked by BAPPEBTI? Is BAPPEBTI better, that's why it blocks brokers regulated by the FCA?

The security of a broker lies in its regulation. However, on the other hand, we also need to be careful. If something undesirable happens, such as the broker going bankrupt, the broker will at least provide compensation for customer funds.

Thanks.

Master, I want to ask about brokers that already have regulations but the reviews are just okay. For example, Vantage FX has ASIC regulation and ETX Capital has FCA regulation. But from the reviews I've read, they are still just average. How can that be?

Vantagefx can be said to be a new broker. There might be few traders trading there, or traders are just lukewarm with the reviews. Or also protecting from bad statements.

Thanks

Bappebti is blocking brokers outside of Indonesia, because Bappebti does not accept brokers that provide micro accounts and only the Bappebti regulator is accepted in Indonesia, so brokers that do not have a Bappebti license will definitely be blocked. It doesn't mean Bappebti is better than the FCA, Bappebti is just the Single Broker Regulator in Indonesia. So local brokers only have mini accounts and regular accounts available, so Bappebti is only blocking brokers that provide micro accounts and do not have a license from Bappebti itself..

Sorry for the mistake in my words.
Hopefully it helps

@ Didi waluyo :
As far as I know, all foreign brokers are blocked and considered illegal by Bappebti, whether they provide regular, mini or micro accounts.

Why is Bappebti like that? Not all foreign brokers are illegal, many of them are also of good quality. So only local ones are legalized? Even though we are from Indonesia, there is definitely a desire to trade with foreign brokers. If the choices are only local brokers, it also limits what facilities we want to choose for our trading...

@ sugeng :
That is indeed the case, Sir. We are prohibited from trading with foreign brokers and local brokers that do not have a Bappebti license, so we are required to trade only with local brokers that have obtained a license from Bappebti. Why is this so? For that, you can ask Bappebti directly via tel. no: 021-31924744 or email: bappebti@bappebti.go.id
