In our opinion, credible international regulators are CFTC, NFA, FCA, FSA, FINMA, MiFID, ASIC and FMA. A credible regulator is one that has been tested and is globally recognized, and imposes strict sanctions on brokers if they are found to have violated agreed-upon terms. These regulators are also responsible for the security of client funds.
For the safety of your trading and funds, we recommend choosing a broker that is already regulated by a credible international regulator. But if you are interested in trading with this broker because you are attracted to its facilities, bonuses, etc., do not use a large amount of funds.

Based on information from traders, monitoring by regulators in offshore countries is generally very lax, so if a broker goes bankrupt or absconds with customer funds, there is no guarantee that the money can be recovered.
