EA consistently profitable in demo account but experiences margin call in real account

I've experienced this twice now. First on a real FBS account, and second on a real Octa account. Both used different EAs. And both accounts eventually experienced a margin call. However, I usually open demo accounts with these EAs as well, and they continue to be profitable until now.

The problem, after checking with the EA owner, is: there are transactions that the EA didn't open yet, but the broker already opened them. Or the lot size increased exponentially on its own. Whereas on the demo account, everything is still according to the EA's procedure.

The question is: is it true that when running a profitable EA, consistent profit is not allowed on a real account? Is profit only allowed on a demo account?

Please advise if there are any brokers that are truly good for running an EA. Incidentally, one of my EAs is the Gold Mining EA.

Thank you for the clarification....

@Adit: Is it true that when running a profitable EA, you can't have consistent profit in a real account, only in a demo account?

If the question is allowed, of course you can have consistent profit. However, if you ask the broker in question, the answer might be different.

I don't fully understand the details of the transaction and how the events unfolded that you experienced, but from your statement above, it's best to avoid using that broker because it has proven to be unable to be profitable.

To anticipate this from happening again, it's best to prepare evidence such as screenshots of floating accounts (real vs demo) using the same robot and attach supporting data such as comparisons from other brokers. This way, you have a strong argument because it's equipped with valid evidence if you want to ask the broker. Make it as detailed as possible so there are no loopholes for the broker to evade and you are sure you are being cheated.

For EA usage, I suggest testing it on FXCM or ICmarkets accounts. I personally use a manual real account (not EA) with that broker and haven't had any problems so far. Test it first with a small capital (no more than $100) to see the consistency, and only gradually increase the deposit once you feel safe. As a second option, you can use Tickmill or XM, I have also used these two brokers and have never experienced any problems.

Hopefully this can help, thank you.
