Good afternoon, I would like to ask about the octa fx Cyprus broker and Octa Investama futures in Indonesia. 1. The logo and name are very similar, are they the same broker? 2. From what I see, their regulations are very different, with Octa Investama being officially regulated by BAPPTI, while Octa FX is listed as a fake investment by BAPPTI.
I would appreciate some clarity as this is very confusing for me.

1. OctaFX Broker and Octa Investama Berjangka Broker are two different brokers. Although they appear to have almost the same logo and brand, in fact these two brokers are different.
2. That’s correct. Octa Investama Berjangka Broker has been regulated by Bappebti while OctaFX Broker is regulated by CySEC (not regulated by Bappebti). That's why OctaFX is included in Bappebti's illegal investment alert list. In fact, it's not just OctaFX, all forex brokers from abroad that are not regulated by Bappebti are illegal (even if they already have regulatory standards from world-class regulatory bodies such as ASIC, FCA, FSA, NFA, etc.).
