Master, Broker AGEA who used to be marketiva when I asked their support, they are classified as a market maker and their exchange rate is based on Interbank trading activities.
My questions:
1. What is a Market maker and how does it work?
2. What is Interbank?

Thank you

Many still consider market maker brokers the same as scam brokers where deposits are easy but withdrawals are made difficult.

In fact, market maker brokers never make withdrawals difficult, what this type of broker does is make trading difficult, resulting in clients finding it difficult to profit or experiencing greater losses than they should. The methods used by market maker brokers are not as crude as scam brokers, they are more difficult to detect and more difficult to prove so that laypeople are not aware that they are being cheated.

Market maker brokers can create their own prices. I see ACM-GOLD from the price, High - LOW when compared to several different brokers. If only there was recognition from AGEA that it is included as a MARKET MAKER, try comparing it to several brokers regarding the price, HIGH and LOW.

Interbank allows Trade and access with major banks. It can be interpreted as trading or cooperating with banks. Example lancebank. I have a friend in Dubai. He works at Lance Bank.  Look at the banner Name of Banking Liquidity.

However, it doesn't always have to be a banner on that site.  Interbank.  dukascopy, saxobank are brokers that have liquidity access with major banks.

Brokers presenting Interbank rates as far as I know are Oanda.

The platform used may use MT4. but the type of interbank technology uses STP. and we also know there are ECN, NDD, DD .

Thanks

To Ashif,

The working mechanism of a market maker broker is certainly different from an interbank broker. In this case, it is a Dealing Desk broker and a Non Dealing Desk broker.

Please read: Getting to Know Market Maker (Dealing Desk) and Non-Market Maker (Non-Dealing Desk/NDD) Brokers

Hopefully this can help.
