The spread calculation is the same for both Buy and Sell positions. Currently, our spread is floating and there is no fixed spread, but generally, according to the example above where the spread is 0.8, for every 1 lot of open position, a fee of $8 will automatically be charged. However, you can start trading with a smaller lot size starting from 0.01 lot.

Is it true that a broker that claims to be Regulated by ASIC can offer deposit bonuses...

It feels like a bait....

Logically, an STP broker only earns from commissions and spreads, if they give deposit bonuses it means they are losing money, unless it's a market maker broker where client losses go into the broker's pocket.

Is there only one type of trading account at ACY broker? Just standard? But the lot can be a minimum of 0.01, so technically you can take micro lots, and the leverage is quite large. But the spread is floating, I'm worried it might widen during certain moments.

It's reasonable, sir/madam, in fact, STP/ECN accounts typically have floating spreads, because their transactions go directly to the forex market, so there is a natural gap between the bid and ask prices due to real buyers and sellers. If there is a fixed spread, it would be strange; who determines the bid and ask prices if they remain fixed like that?
