Agea Withdrawal Guide
Wihtdrawing funds from Agea is available via several methods. Here are some important guides about Agea withdrawal that you need to learn.
Disclaimer: As of October 2024, AGEA has ceased operations and is no longer accepting retail clients.
Withdrawal is the process of liquidating funds from your forex balance to your bank account.
Here are some things you need to know when making a withdrawal:
- To be able to make a withdrawal at Agea, your account must be verified (you have uploaded ID/billing documents).
- The withdrawal method must be the same as the method you used for your initial deposit. So, if you previously deposited via wire transfer, you must also withdraw using wire transfer. The same applies if you previously used another method, such as WebMoney.
- Agea applies strict checks during the withdrawal process. This is intended to prevent withdrawals by unauthorized parties. So, make sure you have followed the procedure correctly. For example, if the Agea system detects failed logins/incorrect passwords, or IP changes, you will be asked to confirm/verify your data first by Agea.
- Agea regulates the allocation of funds on the 'default desk' and 'live desk'. Funds that can be withdrawn are those that have already been on the 'default desk', so make sure you transfer funds from the 'live desk' to the 'default desk' before submitting a withdrawal request.
Withdrawal Methods at Agea
1. By wire transfer
This means you will withdraw funds directly to your bank. Agea will send a wire transfer from its bank abroad to your local bank account.
How to make a withdrawal by wire transfer:
- Log in to your Agea 'Account Center'
- Find the 'Fund'/'Withdraw Fund' menu or link
- Select the 'Wire Transfer' method
- Fill in your data and your bank details correctly.
- In the 'swift code' section, fill in your bank's swift code. You can ask your bank directly for the swift code or see it at List of SWIFT CODEs for Indonesian banks.
- Because this involves sending money between banks internationally, be sure to fill in your data correctly. If it fails, the matter could become lengthy and complicated.
- Once completed, just wait around 3-5 business days. And also check the email notification from Agea regarding the status of your withdrawal request.
- If Agea informs you that your request has been processed, but has not been credited to your bank account within 7 days, you need to contact Agea and your bank for further information. Generally, if the procedure and data are correct, the wire will be credited within a maximum of 7 days.
2. Using e-Payment (WebMoney, Fasapay, etc.)
This means you will liquidate funds through an ePayment account you already have. The stages are: Agea -> ecurrency -> exchanger(local) -> Us(bank). For example, if you use WebMoney, here's the process:
2.1 Request Withdrawal at Agea:
- Log in to your Agea 'Account Center'
- Find the 'Withdrawal Fund' menu/link
- Select Withdrawal by webMoney
- Fill in the 'Recipient Account No' box with your WebMoney Number. Note that 'Recipient Name' must be the same as 'Account Name' in your WebMoney account.
- In the 'Amount' box, enter the amount you want to withdraw. Then click the 'Withdrawal Funds' button.
- For the first withdrawal and only once, Agea will charge a fee of $7. So, if you want to withdraw $100, you must have at least $107 in your default desk for the first time. This process usually takes one day. Also, monitor your email for the status of your withdrawal, whether it has been processed, rejected, and so on. If there are obstacles, you can immediately contact Agea support. Sometimes Agea rejects requests due to certain things (incorrect login, IP change, etc.). And usually via chat, they will carry out additional checks and if it goes smoothly, Agea will immediately process the withdrawal request.
- You will receive the withdrawal funds in your WebMoney account, if it has been completed and successful.
2.2 Selling or Exchanging Your WebMoney for Rupiah
After the funds are in your WebMoney account, you can sell/exchange them to a local exchanger that accepts WebMoney, to withdraw to rupiah/your bank account. For guidance on buying and selling ePayment, you can read and visit the exchanger's website.
