Hello, I would like to ask, if a foreign company provides a trading platform/website for the financial market (brokerage company) located overseas but has clients from Indonesia, does that company need to obtain permission from the relevant authority in Indonesia? Or is it legal for an Indonesian to conduct transactions through a foreign-owned brokerage company website?

@Ovina: No, no foreign forex brokers have ever had a license from an authorized institution in Indonesia. However, if you make transactions through a foreign broker website company, then this is legal.
