Garen Meserlian Promoted to Chief Operating Officer of easyMarkets
Following a successful leadership of the marketing strategy, Garen Meserlian has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer at easyMarkets.

Forex broker easyMarkets has taken a strategic step by appointing Garen Meserlian as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). This announcement, shared on LinkedIn, comes as the low spread broker continues to record impressive growth in a highly competitive market.
Meserlian’s promotion follows a period of significant success for forex broker easyMarkets. In the second quarter of 2025, easyMarkets reported a 34% year-on-year increase in client trading volume. This increase was supported by several market trends, including increased volatility, a surge in global indices to record levels, and a three-year low for the US Dollar Index.
The most popular trading instruments for four consecutive quarters were Gold, Nasdaq, and EURUSD. Forex broker easyMarkets also noted a significant increase in trading frequency, attributed to improvements to its platform enabling faster and more accurate transaction execution.
Prior to joining easyMarkets, Meserlian had built a solid reputation outside the brokerage world, having spent over seven years as a Senior Marketing Director at public relations firm Action Global. He joined easyMarkets as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) in 2023, where his marketing strategies played a key role in the company’s success, including record crypto trading volume of $100,000 in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Looking ahead, the company is preparing for a major expansion into the UK market in 2026, after obtaining a license from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). To lead this initiative, easyMarkets has also appointed Gareth Derbyshire as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).
