How to Compile a Strategy Template?

A basic strategy template starts with a few lines that describe the overall trading strategy, followed by a checklist that consist of the following elements:

  1. Date of the trade
  2. Currency pair
  3. Entry position (buy or sell)
  4. Reason to enter the market
  5. Entry level
  6. Stop loss
  7. Target profit
  8. Stop distance

By the parameters above, this is what a strategy template could look like:
