To Shofwatul Maalik,

There are various reasons why a withdraw might fail. Here are some common reasons why a withdrawal request might be rejected:

  • Insufficient balance. This is certainly an absolute reason why a withdrawal request is rejected. Because you do not have sufficient funds.

  • You still have open trading positions. Some brokers recommend that all open trading positions be closed first before submitting a withdrawal request. If you still have open positions, the amount of equity you have will naturally fluctuate with market movements. Therefore, due to the unstable movement of equity, making a withdrawal while still having open positions is prone to failure.

  • You have not verified your identity. Usually, brokers require new traders or clients to verify their identity when registering an account. Thus, new traders or clients will not be able to deposit funds and trade before verifying their identity. However, over time, some forex brokers now allow new traders or clients to deposit funds and trade first without the verification process.

However, this does not mean that a forex broker does not require an identity verification process. Usually, brokers of this kind will require their traders or clients to undergo a verification process when making a withdrawal. With that, traders will not be able to make a withdrawal before their trading account is verified.

  • The method used when withdrawing is not the same as the method when you made a deposit. Generally, brokers implement a one-way fund flow system. Namely, the broker only processes all types of transactions through the same method as when making the initial deposit. For example, when the broker receives funds (deposits) from you using an account from Bank A, then for subsequent withdrawals and deposits, the broker only accepts incoming/outgoing funds through that Bank A account.

  • Bound by regulations related to account bonuses or bonus funds from the broker. Sometimes the withdrawal process fails because you still have a binding agreement regarding a bonus account or bonus funds program. If you are indeed participating in a bonus program or receiving bonus funds from the broker, then pay attention to the terms and conditions that apply. Common requirements related to bonus or bonus fund programs usually require traders to make trading transactions with a certain number of lots first. If the number of lots has been met, then the trader may withdraw profits or existing bonus funds.

More or less those are some common reasons for failed withdrawals. For further explanation, please contact the customer service of the broker you are using.

Hopefully this helps.
