@ Beginner:
FXCM is one of the world's large retail brokers, which is already regulated by credible regulatory bodies, namely the FCA UK and ASIC Australia. In our opinion, it is a safe broker to use.
If there have been no changes, to our knowledge, execution at FXCM has 2 models, namely with a dealing desk (DD) and non-dealing desk (NDD). This applies to both FXCM Markets USA and FXCM Ltd UK. The method of execution depends on the type of account. For standard account types with funds between USD 50 to USD 20,000, execution is done with a dealing desk (DD), while for premium account types with funds above USD 20,000, execution is done with a non-dealing desk (NDD).
IB forexbrokerpro represents FXCM Ltd UK. Meanwhile, FXCM USA has been purchased by Gain Capital, which is also a large retail broker. All FXCM USA clients have been transferred to Gain Capital. FXCM outside the USA was not affected by this issue. Read also: FXCM Transfers Clients to Gain Capital, 150 Staff Laid Off
Regarding FIFO rules, they only apply to brokers located in the United States. Regarding scalping and hedging, to our knowledge, almost all brokers currently allow scalping and hedging. Regarding spreads, it is relative.
