Tickmill Forex Broker Says Goodbye To Carla Nemr
Tickmill is undergoing significant leadership changes with the departure of Chief Business Development Officer Carla Nemr and Head of Compliance and AML Loukia Matsia.

Forex broker Tickmill is currently undergoing a significant transition in its leadership team, marked by the recent departure of two key executives. Carla Nemr, who played a key role as Chief Business Development Officer, has stepped down after eight years with the company. Nemr's career at forex broker Tickmill began in 2017 when he was appointed Head of Global Business Development.
He brings a wealth of experience from previous roles, including Regional Sales Manager at Amana Capital and Sales Manager at Falcon Brokers. Additionally, his journey in the forex industry began in 2009, starting with FxPulp, and later including important positions at ForexTime Limited (FXTM) and Alpari FS. His extensive experience and leadership have been critical to Tickmill's growth and expansion during his tenure.
Nemr's departure comes at a time when the multi-asset broker is undergoing several changes within its executive ranks, signaling a possible shift in the broker's strategic direction. His contributions have been instrumental in driving global business development, positioning Tickmill as a key player in the competitive forex market.
In addition to Nemr's departure, Loukia Matsia, who served as Head of Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering (AML), also left the company at the beginning of this year. Matsia has been with Tickmill for eight years, and his leadership has been instrumental in strengthening the broker's compliance and AML framework.
From July 2020 to March 2024, he led efforts to ensure that Tickmill complied with strict regulatory standards, safeguarding the company's operations across multiple markets. Prior to this, Matsia held the role of Compliance Officer and Head of Back Office at Tickmill Europe, where he laid the foundations for the broker's strong compliance culture.
