OctaFX Celebrates Eid al-Adha by Sharing Blessings in Three Countries
In the warm spirit of Eid al-Adha, broker OctaFX distributed blessings in the form of food and various necessities to communities in need in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Nigeria.
This year's Eid al-Adha moment is a blessed one for communities in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Nigeria. This is because broker OctaFX collaborated with charitable organizations to hold a blessing-sharing event in the three countries. In addition to sacrificial meat, OctaFX also distributed essential items to support those in need.
Sacrifice Two Cows in Kelantan, Malaysia
In Malaysia, OctaFX, in collaboration with Azeehan, sacrificed two cows to celebrate Eid al-Adha.
The sacrificial beef was then distributed to underprivileged communities in Kelantan. Azeehan and local residents expressed their gratitude to OctaFX for initiating and fully sponsoring the charitable event.
Help Earthquake Victims in Indonesia
In November 2022, an earthquake occurred in the Cianjur area, West Java, Indonesia. Even though several months have passed, the impact of the disaster is still felt today.
Working with the IDEP Foundation, OctaFX distributed sacrificial meat, food packages, and various basic necessities to the residents of Cianjur, ensuring they could celebrate Eid al-Adha without worrying about the declining economic conditions following the disaster.
Share Food for Children with Disabilities in Nigeria
OctaFX's Eid al-Adha moment in Nigeria took place in Lagos, Argungu, and Port Harcourt. Together with Keep It Reel (KIR), OctaFX initiated the "Eid al-Adha Food Drive".
The charitable event successfully distributed food to a total of 250 families, including 60 children and their caregivers at a center for children with disabilities in Lagos and 120 students at an Almajiri school in Argungu. The remainder was then distributed to children at disability centers and orphanages in Port Harcourt.
