As a broker, BDSwiss cares a lot about connecting to its community. That is why this broker often participates in various social events.

Over 50 BDSwiss employees recently participated in the 5km Corporate Race at the Limassol Marathon in March alongside a 40-member team from the "Association of Parents and Friends of Children with Special Needs."

They were part of a group of 15,000 local and international participants who rallied behind the Karaiskakis Foundation and various other charitable causes. Of these participants, 2,000 came from 70 different countries.

The Limassol Marathon is one of Cyprus' premier sporting and fundraising events, with a track record dating back to 2018. The dedicated volunteers who participate in the marathon have collectively raised approximately €90,000 through the givengain.com platform.

These funds are then channeled to support forty non-profit organizations, all dedicated to aiding individuals such as cancer patients, underprivileged children, people with special needs, and endangered animal species.

Nikos Nicolaides, the mayor of Limassol, stated that this year's marathon was one of the finest ever. "The municipality of Limassol feels proud of the city's marathon," he said.

Spyros Spyrou, chairman of Opap, spoke on behalf of the sponsors about the event's tremendous success and enormous attendance. "The record participation we had this year makes us happy, but it also creates more responsibilities for even better and bigger events in the future."

He continued, " Our vision is for the Opap Limassol Marathon to become one of the most popular in Europe, since it combines the advantages of a flat course and ideal weather conditions. "
