To Sigit,

You can find out the investor password only when you open a trading account. At the time of opening a trading account, all important information such as account number, server, trading/investor password will be displayed. You must keep this information safe, as it is only displayed once! Here's what it looks like.

Hopefully this helps.

Can trading be done as an investor? How?

To Abu Dana,

If you mean whether you can trade in an investor account? The answer is no. Because the investor account is read-only, which means you cannot place orders to open positions.

However, if you mean whether you can trade as an investor? Then the answer is, of course. In this case, you act as an investor (owner of funds/capital), who entrusts funds to be traded by an account manager or professional trader with a specific agreement (profit sharing or other system). This is called a PAMM or MAM service.

How do you do it? It's very easy. You simply open an account with a broker that provides the PAMM or MAM service. After you open an account and before starting the PAMM or MAM service, the broker usually provides information from several account managers or professional traders regarding trading track record/performance, trader reputation, minimum fund requirements, to the size of the profit sharing or costs.

That way, you no longer need to trade manually once you have joined a PAMM or MAM service. As our suggestion, choose an account manager/trader who has good performance with requirements that are not too burdensome.

Hopefully this helps.

How big is the risk, Mr. Erik? I just resigned from my office with a decent severance pay. The plan is to use it to invest in forex. But I'm completely blind to the world of forex. Therefore, I want to be just an investor. Many have already offered, and the profits they offer are quite tempting.

To Abu Dana,

The risk that certainly exists in the forex market (whether manual trading or investing) is of course loss. Therefore, if you decide to become an investor by joining a PAMM or MAM service, make sure you choose an account manager or trader who has good performance.

The risk of loss in the forex market cannot be avoided. However, this risk can be minimized. Don't be easily tempted by the promise of profit alone, but also pay attention to the percentage of loss that exists. In addition, pay attention to other factors and requirements as well. Data showing trader performance, profit/loss percentages, and others are usually disclosed by the broker. Therefore, you are REQUIRED to carefully review this data to determine which account manager or trader you want to choose.

Hopefully this can help.
