@Pijar: What are some honest and proven brokers? What are your broker recommendations?
The brokers I recommend are Saxo Bank, City Index, Interactive Brokers, Dukascopy, Oanda, FXCM, Forex.com.
Unfortunately, to assess honesty, I look at experiences and assessments from various sources on the internet. It takes me at least 3 months to find out if a broker is truly honest. Can it be sped up? Yes, I can just request the broker's server journal, but very few brokers dare to provide this. Since 2012, I have used a total of more than 10 brokers, most of whom are licensed from offshore countries. I reflect on these brokers and compare them to brokers that have regulation from credible regulators such as CFTC, NFA, FCA, FSA, FINMA, MiFID, ASIC and FMA.
For beginners, I don't recommend the brokers above yet. Minimum deposits of $2,000, small leverage, no bonuses, etc. are not easy for beginners to understand. Usually, beginners are more interested in small deposits, large leverage, many bonuses, large rebates, etc. This is not about right or wrong, but about a long-term business mindset that beginner traders have not yet understood. Forcing yourself to use the recommended brokers above while learning to trade is not wise.
@Sam: are there any suggestions for brokers that are not fraudulent and scammy?
For professional traders who are already consistently profitable and prioritize fund security, I recommend the brokers above. Saxo Bank, City Index, Interactive Brokers, Dukascopy, Oanda, FXCM, Forex.com are the best brokers for retail traders currently.
If you have sufficient funds for trading, please join the brokers above, the security is better compared to most brokers out there. These brokers operate in developed countries such as England, America, Switzerland, Japan and have regulations within those countries. More credible than forex brokers from offshore countries such as Cyprus, Seychelles, British Virgin, Vanuatu, Belize, etc.
