I have entered the XM regulatory body website such as FCA, ASIC, and IFSC but I am having difficulty in verifying the XM broker's regulation. I have entered the XM reference number on FCA: 705428 in the FCA website search but no results were found. How can I crosscheck?

To Muhammad Yusuf,

XM broker is under the company, Trading Point of Financial Instruments Limited. Having Licensed and Regulated :

1. FCA in the United Kingdom (Trading Point of Financial Instruments UK Limited),
2. ASIC in Australia (Trading Point of Financial Instruments Pty Limited),
3. IFSC in Belize (XM Global Limited)
4. CySEC in Cyprus (Trading Point of Financial Instruments Ltd).

Here is the check on the official FCA website.

Crosscheck XM Regulation

Meanwhile, XM circulating in Indonesia, is XM.com which is under IFSC in Belize (XM Global Limited) or possibly ASIC.

Even though it's one group, it has different rules, depending on which regulation you choose. Under FCA regulation, deposits / withdrawals through third parties are not allowed. You can compare it with XM.com.

Including margin and leverage rules, by following the latest rules from ESMA.

Thank you.

For example.

Under FCA rules, the broker offers and compensation of £50,000 per client. If at any time the XM Group becomes bankrupt/collapses. Then the clients who will be insured for funds are clients who opened accounts under FCA / XM.co.uk. While clients who opened accounts in IFSC in Belize or possibly ASIC, will not be as much, or even not at all, lost / forfeited.

Thank you
