Choose Fixed Spread or Floating Account?

Personally, I do not trade using a fixed-spread account.

The advantage of a fixed-spread account is of course a relatively more stable spread. The spread on a fixed-spread account will not change even if there are changes in volatility (such as before the release of fundamental news, for example). With that, traders can take advantage of this to maximize existing trading potential.

“If for beginners, is it recommended to choose a broker that uses fixed or floating spread?”

Everything has its own pluses and minuses, and it also depends on the comfort and trading style of each trader. But if asked for a personal opinion, I prefer to trade with a floating spread account. Simply put, generally the realtime spread on a floating-spread account (on average) is still relatively smaller compared to the spread offered on a fixed-spread account.

However, the selection of this is still adjusted to the needs, comfort and trading style of each trader. And every trader's decision can be different (cannot be used as an absolute reference in decision making).

Which of FirewoodFX, FBS, and OctaFX has better spreads?

As far as I know, FBS and OctaFX brokers do not provide fixed-spread account types. As for FirewoodF FX broker, we apologize in advance, we are not very familiar with whether this broker provides fixed-spread trading accounts or not.
