I still remember it clearly. I just deposited $20 to try it out, but a few hours later I had to postpone trading because my child was sick. When I checked again, the real account balance was gone. Why?

To Ita Purnamasari,

It is possible that you still had open positions when you left the trading account. And you also did not set a stop loss on those open positions, so you did not limit your losses. Another possibility is that market conditions at that time were moving against your positions, eventually exhausting all your funds due to being unable to withstand the existing losses.

Hopefully this helps.

Dear Mr. Erik,

It doesn't make sense for something like that to happen, because binomo (trading option) trading is time-based, not trading based on balance endurance. So, whatever we bet, only that amount will be lost (loss), therefore there is a term of compensation to cover previous losses, unlike forex trading, which can still hold when the balance is still there if OP goes against the trend.

However, if the balance is no longer strong enough to withstand the storm, there is an indication of a Margin Call, or what is commonly called MC, in slang it's MissCantique.

Correct me if I'm wrong...

To Pajar Satria,

In the context of the previous question, the questioner did not explain what they were trading, so I assume the person is trading forex.

In binary option trading, there is indeed no term margin call or stop out, because we will only experience a loss equal to the capital we have risked.

Unlike binary options, forex trading is a bit more complex. Setting aside the level of complexity, the lack of time constraints and the lack of profit/loss limits make forex trading more flexible than binary options.
