How to Place an Order/Transaction

1. Making a Sell/Short/Sell Order
Simply click on the "bid" column for the desired currency pair. For example, in the image below, you are making a "Sell open position" transaction for GBP/USD at a price of 2.0108.

2. Making a Buy/Long/Buy Order
Simply click on the "offer" column for the desired currency pair. For example, in the image below, you are making a "Buy open position" transaction for GBP/USD at a price of 2.0112.

3. Then an Order Form Will Appear:

Explanation:

  • Instrument Column: Filled with the currency pair you want to trade (automatically filled). Example: GBP/USD, EUR/USD, USD/JPY, USD/CHF.
  • Buy/Sell Column: Choice of BUY or SELL position (usually automatically filled according to your order when you click the bid or offer column)
  • Price Column: The desired transaction price (automatically filled)
  • Price Type Column: Automatically filled with the "market" option. Do not change if you want to transact at the current price. The "stop" or "limit" options are used to order a price (order) in the future (not the current price). See the link on how to order a price for transactions at the bottom of this page.
  • Exit Target Column: Can be filled with the Target price you want to achieve. If in a Buy position you analyze and estimate the price will move from 1.8931 to 1.9001, then enter the value 1.9001 in the "Exit Target" column. Conversely, if you take a SELL position. Alternatively, you can leave this column blank until you liquidate/close the position yourself.
  • Exit Stop Loss Column: In a losing position (opposite direction position), Stop Loss is the price position where the application will automatically close the position at that price. This is intended to limit losses. Example: If we open a SELL Position at 1.8926 and want to limit losses of 50 pips, then we enter the price in this "Exit Stop Loss" column at 1.8976.
  • Desk Column: Choose "Live" if you want to transact with a Live Account (your real money). And choose "Virtual" if you want to transact virtually or with virtual money (simulation). Remember, Agea has provided $10,000 in virtual funds for every trader who registers.
  • Text Column: No need to fill in
  • Quantity Column: Adjust to your capital. Generally used is 1/5 of the capital we have. The goal is to ensure that your capital remains sufficient if the position moves in the opposite direction. For example, if you have $5 in capital, then trade only $1. If you have $100 in capital, then you can trade $20. And so on.
What you need to know here is that, Agea uses leverage of 1:100. This means you can make a $100 transaction with only $1 in capital. So with a leverage system like this, if you are going to trade:
$1 then enter a value of 100 in the Quantity column
$5 then enter a value of 500 in the Quantity column
$10 then enter a value of 1000 in the Quantity column
See the correct filling of the quantity column in the image below marked with a blue box. For example, if you want to make a buy/sell transaction of $10, then it is 1000 (from: $10 x 100) that must be entered (do not enter the value 10).

3. Sending the Order
After you check the data correctly, Click "OK", the order will be sent to the Agea server immediately. Furthermore, your transaction can be seen on your Agea deal quote screen (Window 4).

Monitoring Transaction Positions

After the transaction is sent, you can monitor profit/loss. Example image below: Buy EUR/USD 1.2785, Profit 15 (Green).

Editing and Closing Orders

To edit an open trading position, click on 'Position ID' (usually a code2 transaction like C3CN710022). Then a pop-up like this will appear:

Click Change to edit your transaction.
Click Close to liquidate your position.
Click No Action if you do not want to do anything.

If you do not want to download and install the application or want to be able to trade by changing gadgets, Streamster Agea is also available in the form of a WebTrader that can be opened in a browser on any gadget. You just need to access the WebTrader address at https://wt.agea.com/
